SENIOR PASTOR DR. ROBERT E. BLOCKER Pastor Robert Blocker is an anointed man of God who loves to preach and teach the Word of God with conviction. He believes that the Holy Spirit changes the lives of all who hear and follow God's Word. Pastor Blocker is hungry to "win the lost soul at any cost." He is married to a woman who has a heart for God. Reverend Leslie Blocker is also dynamic evangelistic preacher who has a hungry for lost souls. Pastor Blocker loves her spiritual beauty and passion for the Word of God. They have four adult children and six grandchildren. Pastor Blocker is dedicated and faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is committed to reach all people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Blocker was called by God to teach and preach the life-changing Word of God in 2003, but answered His call in 2005. He was licensed as a minister on November 9, 2007 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Fayetteville, North Carolina. He served in several ministries: Male Chorus, Mass Choir, Children's Church Department, and the Prison Ministry. He was installed and ordained as Pastor of Word of Faith Ministries on January 11, 2015. He ensures Word of Faith is a place where you can experience the life-changing power, freedom of worship, and the presence of God. He strongly believes the purpose of the church is to meet the needs of the community, as well as leading people to establish a personal relationship with Christ. Pastor Blocker has the shepherding heart of God and loves people. The patience of God is always exhibited in his life, no matter what the situation may be. Life application of the Word is first and farmost. He is an example not just in word, but is demonstrated in action. His belief is you can't lead where you are not willing to follow. His love for outreach has led him to continue to engage in the Community Outreach Program to reach those who are lost, overlooked, and have been discarded by society. The Great Commission is at the heart of what he does. He will go where God sends him; he will speak what God gives him; he will do what give commands him. He knows there is much work to be done while there is still an opportunity to reach a soul. ASSOCIATE PASTOR LESLIE E. BLOCKER
Reverend Leslie Elizabeth Blocker is married to Robert Earl Blocker. Leslie and Robert have been married for 25 years. They have four adult children: Latoya, Laytora, LaTasha, and Robert Jr.; five grandsons (Gabriel, Mataeo, Marquise, Omari, and Jordan) and one granddaughter (Laytora Marie). Reverend Leslie Blocker knew without doubt that Robert was her soul mate for life. He truly has a shepherd's heart. Reverend Leslie Blocker worked as a federal employee for 33 years. She has worked with the Border Patrol Agency and the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Detroit, Michigan for two years before moving to Fayetteville, North Carolina in March 1985. On October 01, 1985 she was employed by Womack Army Medical Center and served there until her retirement on September 30, 2016. Reverend Leslie Blocker was baptized at an early age; although, she did not come into the full knowledge of the meaning of salvation until she was in her early twenties. Reverend Leslie Blocker was called by God to become a “fisher of men” in her late twenties. She did not accept this call until she was in her early thirties. Reverend Leslie Blocker was licensed as a minister on November 9, 2007 at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Fayetteville, North Carolina where she had been an active member for 30 years. She served in several ministries: choir, praise team, adult and youth usher board, Sunday School, preaching ministry, teaching ministry, foreign mission ministry, bereavement ministry, and the evangelism ministry. She also served as Praise and Worship Leader for the Children’s Church Worship Service, preacher and teacher for Children’s Church, an active member with Missionary Ministry #1 (Nursing Home) who provided worship service at the Whispering Pines Nursing Home twice a month. Reverend Leslie Blocker was a member with the Women After God’s of Heart (WAGOH) prayer ministry for over five years. She has been blessed to bring hope, encouragement, and comfort to “whosoever will come” and receive what thus says the Lord through the preaching and teaching of His Word. Reverend Leslie Blocker was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor of Word of Faith Ministries on January 11, 2015. She serves as a Praise and Worship Ministry Leader, Acting Minister of Music, group member of Voices of Glory, Exhortation Ministry Leader/Exhortor, Adult/Youth Sunday School Instructor, New Members Instructor/ Ministry Leader, Adult Bible Study Instructor, Children/Youth Church Worship Service Instructor, Church Secretary/Church Clerk, Finance Clerk/Treasurer, and Church Executive Board Vice President. Reverend Leslie Blocker has completed her undergraduate studies with Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina and her graduate studies with Liberty Theological Seminary, Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. Her studies included: Associate of Arts and Science on December 12, 2009 at Campbell University, Bachelor of Science in Psychology on December 18, 2010 at Campbell University, and Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling on July 18, 2012 at Liberty University. She has also accomplished studies with Fayetteville State University in Computer Science, Troy University in Psychology, biblical studies with Carolina Bible College in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and office administration with Detroit Institute of Commerce, Detroit, Michigan. Accomplishments related to her federal career included training in Personnel Security, Information Security, Physical Security, Communication Security, Foreign Disclosure, Intelligence Security, Antiterrorism, Security and Education, and Office Administration.
